Onebean is a cartoon featuring, well, beans! There's also Donny the Chinese Dragon, Saucy the Soybean and Sven, the 'Shavers Only' guy.
The cartoon is a little strange in that the name 'Bean' can be applied to almost any of the bean characters - it's more a term of endearment than an actual name.

Hi, I won a student writing contest and my school is asking the contest winners for visual ideas. I thought your crossroads cartoon would be great. I'm not familiar with the copyright business so what would be the procedures to get your cartoon published in a small writing contest winners magazine and if there's a fee, how much would it be? Unfortunately, I can't promise you a boat load of money or that there's a certainty that the school will be paying you. I'm approaching you first and after I receive some information regarding this, I can approach the department chair. -Jae

The only thing that you will need to do is credit me and website like this: "by Ian Chau www.onebean.com". If your school wanted to use other cartoons on an ongoing basis then that would be different...
